Expectant Mother Package

  • Pregnancy

We believe that being educated on the changes your body goes through during pregnancy is essential to preventing and/or reducing aches and pains. During your second and third trimester, we meet with you to address postural training, strategies to minimize your risk of diastasis recti, safe ways to continue exercising, and ways to build core strength.

  • Birth Preparation

We spend time during your third trimester visit to review strategies that help you prepare your body and pelvis for labor, and reduce your risk of perineal tearing during delivery. We will review considerations for positioning during labor and delivery, as well as proper pushing mechanics if a vaginal delivery is intended.

  • Postpartum

We believe that your recovery process begins immediately and builds gradually. We will provide you with early postpartum strategies during your third trimester visit and check-in soon after delivery with a virtual visit. Following your 6-week appointment with your medical provider, we determine your needs for full postpartum recovery over the course of two in-person appointments.

Program Details

This program is designed to meet you when you need it most. Your two prenatal visits will help you learn to work with your body as it evolves over the course of your pregnancy. We also utilize your second prenatal visit to prepare you for labor and delivery, with the goal of minimizing your risk for complications and perineal tearing.

Your postpartum care begins as early as your first few weeks. Prior to your 6-week follow-up with your medical provider, we are available to meet with you virtually to address any concerns you may be having, and to review early, gentle rehab strategies to ensure that your recovery is optimized from the very beginning.

Your final two in-person visits, typically within your first three months postpartum. We utilize these visits to ensure you are set-up with a postpartum program that helps you achieve your specific goals. Our assessment often includes a diastasis recti screen and pelvic floor examination, but will also incorporate the assessment of any other areas that are essential to achieving your goals and getting you back to feeling like the strongest version of you.
